Ivesi is a dairy sheep breed of Anatolian origin. It is compatible with the nomadic system and shows superior performance in hot and arid climatic conditions. Its ability to withstand desert conditions of 40-45°C makes it an indispensable breed in Southeastern Anatolia and the Middle East.

Physical Properties

Beyaz-krem vücutlu, kirli sarı/kahverengi başlı. Yağlı kuyrukludur. Kulaklar büyük ve sarkık, burun hafif kamburdur. İri yapılı, güçlü ayaklı.

Care & Growing Conditions

Mera ve anız otlatmasına dayalı beslenir. Göçer ve yarı-göçer sistemlere uyumludur. Sıcaklık toleransı çok yüksektir.
